EMZ Química Ltda was found back in 1992 by Mr Emanuel Santos, an experienced chemist with more than 30 years´ background in paints, coatings and textiles industry.
At that time, EMZ targeted its business at three main markets: water treatment, paper mills and textiles, the latter being its core business since the begining of our activities.
With the help of international companies, such as Allied Coloids, Stockhausen, Sandoz, SNF/Floerger, Itochu Trading, Argon Kimya, Hongda Group and SAREX Overseas, just to name a few trusted partners, EMZ broadened its product and solutions´ portfolio for local industries, always adapting high technology products to match our customer´s needs, always thinking about the quality of our products, cost effectiveness of our solutions and the speed and precision in our technical support.
Our solutions for textiles range from yarn sizing, pre-treatment, dyeing, printing and finishing processes, covering a great part of the textiles´ production chain.
In the past few years, we have developed new ventures on SAP - Super Absorbent Polymers´ business, having reached around 200 customers in diapers market. We also have developed a comprehensive line of PVA and PVOH based adhesives, that can be used by wood and carpentry industries, paper, schools and homes. Another research resulted in some reliable resins, that suit most important needs of coatings and paint industry, with high eficiency in binding and dispersing of paints.
And this is how EMZ has built its success history in Brazil, always trying to develop or bring the best solutions from international partners to help Brazilian companies to obtain eficiency and better quality to their production processes.
